At FitrWoman, we believe that your privacy is a fundamental right and that you should be in complete control of your data.  We will do our part to ensure you have a full understanding of what data we collect from you, how we use it, how we keep it safe – and importantly, how you can request to access it and delete it at any time.

Transparency is everything.
When you use FitrWoman, you trust us with your data.  It is our job to earn your trust – in what we say and, most importantly, in what we do.  And it all starts with transparency.  You have the right to know and the right to choose exactly how your data are used, and we have the responsibility to ensure you are fully informed on all matters relating to your data.

You are in control.
You can request to access, update and delete your data – all of it – at any time.  We make this as easy as possible through built-in account management tools, and you can always contact us directly at privacy@fitrwoman.com for support with any data request.

We will never sell your data.
We never have and never will sell your data to third parties, including advertisers or other marketing businesses.

FAQs

Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.

What data do you collect from me?

When you use FitrWoman, we collect personal data like your name, email address, and date of birth when you set up your account, as well as more sensitive data you may choose to provide like your menstrual cycle dates and symptoms. We use this to create a personalised experience for you and help you learn about your body. We also capture data about how you use FitrWoman to help us understand what you like and continue to make it better. We only collect data for which we have an explicitly defined purpose. Further information on how we collect and use your data can be found in our Privacy Notice. You can reach out to us anytime at privacy@fitrwoman.com. 

How do I manage my data?

You can manage your data in a number of ways within the FitrWoman Mobile App:

Account Details:
Edit your name and date of birth at any time in the App Settings. You are not able to change the email associated with your account once it’s been created. If you need to change your email, you’ll have to create a new account, and for privacy and security reasons, you will not be able to connect the data from your prior account to your new account.

Password:
Change your password at any time in the App Settings. Minimum password strength requirements are enforced.

Menstrual Cycle Data:
Add to and change your historical menstrual cycle data at any time using the Calendar in the App. Simply select the desired date in the Calendar and log bleed and symptom information. Importantly, making changes to your historical data may impact your cycle status and future cycle projections. 

Exporting Your Data:
Export your data at any time by accessing the Export Data function in the App Settings. When you export your data, a file containing your name, dietary preferences, cycle status with start and end dates, phase status with start and end dates, and logging activity (symptoms and exercise intensity) is securely sent to the email associated with your account. Should you have any questions on the data export functionality or require further support in accessing your data, you may reach out to us at privacy@fitrwoman.com

Deleting Your Data:
Request to delete your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@fitrwoman.com.

If I delete the FitrWoman mobile app, does it delete my data?

No – this is really important: simply deleting the FitrWoman app from your phone will not delete your data. We securely retain your data for a period of time in accordance with our legal obligations and to allow you to pick up where you left off, should you want to. Similarly, if you’ve connected your account to a coach or trainer through FitrCoach, simply deleting the FitrWoman app will not break your connection; your data will remain visible to your coach or trainer. You can reach out to us at privacy@fitrwoman.com for assistance in deleting your data.

Can I withdraw my consent to process my data?

Yes, you can withdraw your consent at any time by reaching out to us at privacy@fitrwoman.com. Please be advised that if you withdraw your consent, we are required to delete your account and your data, subject to our legal obligations. Accordingly, you may choose to export your data or request a copy of your data from us for your records when you withdraw your consent.

Can I withdraw my consent for connecting to my coach or trainer on FitrCoach?

Yes, you can withdraw your consent and break the connection to your coach or trainer on FitrCoach at any time in the FitrWoman App Settings under Coach Connections. Doing so will effectively delete your profile and all associated data on your coach’s or trainer’s FitrCoach.  You can also reach out to us at privacy@fitrwoman.com for assistance with breaking your connection(s) to FitrCoach.
